Huntley, Illinois Real Estate

After I married my husband, we moved to his hometown of Huntley, IL. My husband was dead set on settling there after grad school. I grew up in Miami so I didn’t know what to expect. I had never even gone farther north than the Mason Dixon. I still remember driving into Huntley for the first time ever. It was so different than anything in Miami. We have plenty of suburbs in Miami but there was just something so different about Huntley. It just felt like home. I thought I would miss Miami and I did but it didn’t take long to adjust. I love how cozy and small the town is.

I immediately fell in love with the small city. It’s beautiful just as my husband had described it. The homes in Huntley are as all-American as you can imagine complete with big trees and lawns. My husband and I bought a beautiful house in a cul-de-sac. It has spacious rooms and high ceilings.

The stone on the outside is covered in ivy. We love it. It wasn’t difficult to find a nice home it was just difficult deciding on one. We told our www.realestateinhuntleyil.com real estate agent what we were looking for and she found several homes for us to choose from. It was so difficult to make a decision. Whenever I talk to my girlfriends in Miami they always ask me when I am coming home. I always tell them that Huntley is home to me now.
