Huntley Living
I lived in Chicago for the majority of my life. When I graduated from Loyola, I immediately got a job with a company in Chicago. I was thrilled because it was a great job and I wanted to stay in Chicago.
It came as a total surprise when my boss asked me to move to Huntley. After much consideration and review of the benefits I would receive, I accepted. I had never been to Huntley but my first impression was that it was just another suburb around Chicago. I was afraid I would have a hard time adjusting to such a small place. I had become accustomed to all the big city amenities Chicago has to offer. I also loved the noise and the bright lights.
I purchased a tiny one-bedroom house that would have been twice as much in Chicago. I fell in love with my neighborhood. I spent countless hours walking around taking in the beautiful scenery. A year and a half after I had been living in Huntley my company asked me if I wanted to go back to Chicago. I decided to renew my contract in Huntley. Even though I sometimes missed Chicago I had become accustomed to the quiet.
I decided to buy a bigger house there. The houses in Huntley are absolutely adorable. I used Real Estate In Huntley, Il to find a lovely two-bedroom house right down the street from my first home. Now that Huntley is my home I consider myself a small town girl.
