Huntley has a lot of festivals and events to attend. Every year in late February there is the Huntley Home and Business Expo. There is also the annual Huntley Annual Picnic, which has been held for fifteen years. Another fun event is the Turkey Testicle Festival at Parkside Pub that is held every year on the day before Thanksgiving.

There are so many fun things to do in Huntley; it is far from being a boring town.

When I was a little girl I used to beg my parents for a dog.

We lived in a high rise in downtown Chicago where it was highly impractical to house a dog so I never got one. I never grew out of wanting a dog. When I finally moved out on my own I thought about buying one. I decided against it because I was living in a small building. The neighborhood I lived in wasn’t very safe either so I wouldn’t be able to walk it very often. My new puppy loved the house as well. Over the next few months Bitsy and I spend the majority of my free time in different parks and nature reserves. There are more than ten public parks in the area.

I was very happy to have found such a dog friendly town. We also spent lots of time playing in our little yard and find it to be the perfect size for us. My agent did a great job finding me a perfect home for my dog and I.
